
The WVU football program won the commitment of a highly coveted defensive end on Saturday, beating out several Power Four schools.
Coast Carolina defensive end Ezekiel Durham-Campbell posted about his West Virginia offer last Sunday. He entered the transfer portal on Jan. 6.
Durham-Campbell, listed at around 6-foot-5 and 247 pounds, played for Coastal Carolina in 2025 after spending the prior two seasons at Louisiana Tech. In 2025, he recorded 39 total tackles, deflected a pass and forced two fumbles. He picked up 21 total tackles in two years with Louisiana Tech.
The Georgia native started his college career at Lenoir–Rhyne University, making 23 tackles in 11 games in 2022.
He was a first-team all-state and all region selection at Marietta High School.
Baylor, Kentucky, SMU, Syracuse and UCF also extended offers to Durham-Campbell.
