Duren reminds me a lot of DeAndre Ayton.
Both good scorers, nice rebounders but I believe have a limitation. Aytons is his motor and physicality and Durens is defence inconsistency and relies on others offensively.
Then look at how Ayton left Phoenix, terrible playoff showing and only played 17 minutes of a game 7.
Ayton then felt disrespected in contract negotiations cause he didn’t get the max. Obviously got the pacers offer which was match and had to stay. Then his role diminished and was forced to play screen and roll, before eventually traded to Portland.
Duren had the terrible playoff showcase where his minutes disappeared. Now in contract negotiations he didn’t get the max and has stated he feels disrespected. No one else has money to offer him anything so he’s going to stay it’s just on how much and for how long…
As for the other bloke who thinks I’m a hater and it shows my low IQ or whatever, grow up. Just because someone disagrees with your opinion doesn’t mean anything. I guarantee you Duren will never average high 20’s in his career, he certainly will not dominate the league. He’s good, probably a top 5 definitely top 10 centre in the league. Low basketball IQ is comparing Duren to Steph Curry hahahaha
