Yep the press is milking it for drama and certain fans are lapping it up with fake rage even though contract holdouts regularly occur in every major sport. Is Joey's side playing games? Who knows, who cares. It's not personal, it's just business. If he suits up in week 3 and signs week 4, it'll be like none of this ever existed by week 5. If he doesn't and gets traded, same thing.
