His son on the show is such a goon. I was bothered in the first season because that chick would never get with him. Then Bill's wife is so over the top and cartoonish. I liked Bill's character immensely and it's all Thortons talent. He needs other high caliber actors around him like Fargo. Nearly everyone else seems amateurish, even Demi and Shepard. Stopped caring before 1st season even ended.
