Join the Transletting Collective on a translation journey through Michael Lentz’s poetry collection Chora. In this workshop, we will present interlinear translations of a selection of poems from Chora and simultaneously showcase creative translations of the poems utilizing techniques such as homophonic translation, multilingualism, erasure, and visual transformation. The workshop will engage with the similarities and differences of literary and creative translations, as well as how both open up new ways to interact with the text.Participants will also have the opportunity to work on their own creative translations during the workshop with a selected excerpt.
