Animal Kingdom in particular really needed this. There's a reason they've never given plastic straws or plastic lids for drinks at Animal Kingdom - inconsiderate guests and unmonitored children will throw them into the animal exhibits. Having trash cans that can compact and aren't constantly too full to throw anything away is a big help. I worked at a restaurant (not Disney) that had an automated trash can that compacted, since we had a huge volume of customers and couldn't just allocate an employee to change the trash bags every 20 minutes. The compactor trash cans are super easy, you have to have little to no knowledge about modern technology to not be able to figure it out lol. And I'm frankly not concerned with whether or not elderly folks can figure it out, I'm worried about saving the planet for the next generation.
