Three people were injured when a car crashed into Lake Michigan early Saturday morning, authorities said.
Chicago police said at around 12:50 a.m., a black two-door vehicle lost control and drove into the lake near the 800 block of North DuSable Lake Shore Drive.
The people involved in the crash were able to swim to land, police said. A 26-year-old male sustained a dislocated shoulder and was transported to an area hospital in fair condition. Two 19-year-old men also sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital in fair condition.
Video obtained by NBC Chicago showed the vehicle submerged in the water as police worked on the scene.
