A NFL O-line is not a lego set. Rookies have enough to learn just transitioning to the NFL, putting them out of position is... stupid.
Some tackles played both positions in college. Some only played one. If you need a LT, then draft a LT or has played LT. Max has only played RT. Jones had only played LT.
And Jones was steadily improving back at LT before he got injured.
Made Myles Garrett a non factor.
