I think Skylar or Will is capable of being QB1 this year. Drew needs time, and he just turned 22 a few weeks ago. At some point the team has to take a chance on a young guy and stick with him win or lose.
Kenny was a terrible pick from the beginning. MT didn't do him any favors, but he also was a projected backup by many that year.
Will and Drew have a chance - bc unlike Kenny both have the physical tools to be long term starters if they can put it together.
I liked what I saw out of Skylar when he was here.
Unless MM falls flat on his face this year, I don't see us ever being in position to take a top QB considering how many other teams are also in search of one and tend to have worse records than us every year.
And truthfully NONE of these QBs coming out over the past few years have been that great. Each of them have their flaws, some started off hot and are starting to fizzle (see Stroud), others started slow and then started to shine (see Drake Maye).
