Well, the San Francisco 49ers decided one pick in the first two rounds was enough.

After taking Ole Miss wide receiver De’Zhaun Stribling with the No. 33 pick, the San Francisco 49ers have traded out of the No. 58 pick with the Cleveland Browns, moving back 12 spots to the No. 70 overall pick.

In return, the 49ers are jumping up 45 spots from No. 152 to No. 107, using the fifth-round pick they just received from the Dallas Cowboys in the Dee Winters trade to secure another fourth-round pick.

It’s San Francisco’s third trade in the draft, as they moved out of the first round entirely after trading back from No. 27 to No. 30, and subsequently from No. 3o to No. 33.

With this trade, here’s the remainder of San Francisco’s picks in the 2026 NFL Draft:

No. 70 (Round 3)

No. 90 (Round 3)

No. 107 (Round 4)

No. 127 (Round 4)

No. 133 (Round 4)

No. 139 (Round 4)

No. 179 (Round 5)

San Francisco’s now got quite a bit of capital in the third and fourth rounds, and is still at 7 picks in the draft. We’ll see if they make another move on Day 2 with their newly-acquired capital.

Now, it’s on to Round 3 for the 49ers.
