Pair arrested, charged after person shot in Bristol home invasion

Two people have been arrested and charged after, police say, a person was shot in a home invasion that happened early Friday in Bristol Township.

According to officials, a man and a woman — identified as Junell Osborne and Erica Montgomery, both 23-years-old — have been arrested and charged after they, allegedly, forced their way into an apartment in the Millcreek Apartments complex, located along Mill Creek Road, at about 12:10 a.m. on Friday.

In this incident, officials said, officers with the Bristol Township Police Department responded to the unit after a report of a possible home invasion and heard a disturbance coming from inside the building after arriving at the scene.

Inside, officials said, officers found a victim in an apartment that had been shot twice. This individual — who police did not provide further identifying information on — was taken to a nearby hospital where they were listed in stable condition.

The victim, police say, was shot during an altercation that erupted after Osborne and Montgomery allegedly forced their way into an apartment.

The break-in, police believe, came in the aftermath of an earlier altercation between Osborne and the victim.

Police recovered a firearm at the scene, officials said.

Osborne has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault, burglary, weapon violations and related offenses while, officials said, Montgomery was arrested and has been charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated assault, burglary, possession of a weapon and related offenses.

Police said Osborne is being held in the Bucks County Correctional Facility on $1,000,000 bail. Montgomery is being held at the same facility as, officials said, she faces $150,000 bail.
