However, this game still matters, and both teams look evenly matched based on how their seasons have played out.
The Governors Cup is about pride. Running the state is important to both schools, and after last year’s embarrassment at Kroger Field, Kentucky has to remind itself of that and let it fuel them to a win today.
What an awesome way for Stoops to go out, if that is the case, with a final win over the Cards. Who knows, but it should be fun.
