In-person voting begins at 39 Orange County vote centers

In-person voting for the Nov. 3 general election began Saturday at 39 vote centers across Orange County, with an additional 152 locations scheduled to open the following weekend.

All the centers will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Nov. 2, and from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.

“We’ve been preparing all the equipment that is used in those vote centers. Making sure that they work accurately. And that they’re securely transported to those locations and can’t be tampered with,” Orange County Registrar Bob Page said Saturday.

“Voting early means shorter lines for voters and faster results for everyone,” Page said in an earlier statement. “Voters can return their ballot at any vote center, by mail, or at one of 128 official ballot drop boxes. No matter which option they choose, returning their ballot early gets it processed in time for election night results.”

The county is also conducting five “Pop-Up Vote Center” events from Sunday through Nov. 2, at the following locations:

  • Sunday, Oct. 25: Leisure World, 1661 Golden Rain Road, Seal Beach (Clubhouse 6 parking lot; residents and guests only).
  • Tuesday, Oct. 27: Braille Institute Anaheim Center, 527 N. Dale Ave., Anaheim (south parking lot).
  • Thursday, Oct. 29: South Coast Chinese Cultural Center, 9 Truman St., Irvine.
  • Saturday, Oct. 31: CREER Comunidad y Familia, 31322 Camino Capistrano, San Juan Capistrano.
  • Monday, Nov. 2: AltaMed Medical Group, Bristol, 2720 S. Bristol St., Ste. 110, Santa Ana.
