Penn State is still seeking its first conference victory of the season as we reach the final Saturday of October. They may not have to wait much longer according to the oddsmakers, as the Nittany Lions are listed as a 7.5-point favorite over Purdue per FanDuel.

Penn State enters the game on a four-game skid dating back to the start of Big Ten play. Losses have piled up against Wisconsin, Northwestern, USC and Michigan behind an offense that regularly stalls out and a defense that has difficulty getting off the field. The Nittany Lions are coming off a bye week as they look to turn their season around.

Purdue also enters the season at 3-4, although there is more optimism around the Boilermakers. Despite being a common pick to finish dead last in the Big Ten, Purdue has showed promise by knocking off Illinois and Minnesota for a 2-2 record in conference play. The Boilermakers are also coming off a bye, with their last game a 38-26 loss to Washington on Friday, Oct. 16.

Penn State and Purdue will kick off on Saturday from Beaver Stadium at 4:15 p.m., with the game airing on BTN.
