An employee at the King of Prussia Mall is accused of taking upskirt photos of teen girls and women and using AI to create child sexual abuse material.
Resources for victims of sexual assault are available through the National Sexual Violence Resources Center and the National Sexual Assault Telephone Hotline at 800-656-4673.
Robert Mayberry, 41, of Prospect Park, Pennsylvania, is charged with multiple counts of photograph/film/depict on computer sex act-child, child sexual abuse material, invasion of privacy, and criminal use of communication facility.

The investigation began on June 18, 2026, when a woman contacted West Goshen Police. The woman told investigators she spotted photos and videos on Mayberry’s cellphone that showed several AI-generated child pornography videos as well as “upskirt” photos of various women.
The woman showed police pictures she had taken of the images.
After learning that Mayberry worked at the Therabody store at the King of Prussia Mall, police obtained a search warrant that same day and pulled Mayberry over as he drove on Paoli Pike near the Route 202 ramps in West Goshen Township, officials said. Police then served the warrant and seized Mayberry’s electronic devices, including his MacBook, iPhone, flash drive, and SD cards, according to the criminal complaint.
Between June 26 and Aug. 14, investigators searched through the devices and found hundreds of videos and photos of AI-generated child sexual abuse material, according to officials. They also found child pornography that was not AI-generated as well as over 150 upskirt videos of women and teen girls, investigators said.
According to the criminal complaint, the photos and videos of the victims were taken at the King of Prussia Mall, parks, a zoo, convenient stores, and an aquarium.
“He was targeting girls, females on the escalator, walking around the mall,” West Goshen Police Detective Kyle Maye told NBC10.
Police said in one case Mayberry took a photo of a teen girl at the West Goshen Community Park in West Goshen Township and used the AI app Grok to create child pornography.
Mayberry was arrested on Oct. 21, 2026, and posted bail. His next preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 30, 2026.
NBC10 reached out to Therabody on Friday, Oct. 23, to confirm if Mayberry was still employed at the store.
“We take these allegations extremely seriously. The safety of our customers and team is our top priority, and the employee has been placed on leave, effective immediately,” a Therabody spokesperson wrote.
Sources told NBC10 that Mayberry has been banned from the King of Prussia Mall. NBC10 also reached out to Mayberry’s attorney for comment. We will include a statement once we receive one.
Anyone with additional information at Mayberry should call West Goshen Township Police.
