The following Chiefs players have been ruled out:
- Wide receiver Rashee Rice (hamstring/knee)
- Right tackle Jaylon Moore (concussion)
- Running back Brashard Smith (hamstring)
Smith was added to the final injury report after hurting his hamstring in Thursday’s practice, according to head coach Andy Reid on Friday. Reid shared that practice-squad rookie running back Jaydn Ott is likely to be elevated to the game-day roster in response to Smith’s injury.
- Cornerback L’Jarius Sneed (knee) was listed as questionable; he was also questionable in Week 6 but played 49% of the defensive snaps in the win.
- Linebacker Cooper McDonald (knee) was listed as questionable after his first week of practice since being designated to return from the Week 1 knee injury that placed him on the Reserve/Injured list. McDonald must be officially added to the active roster by Saturday in order to play against Seattle. The Chiefs seemingly opened roster spots for McDonald by waiving linebacker Cam Jones on Tuesday and placing left tackle Josh Simmons on IR.
- Tight end Travis Kelce (ankle) was a limited participant in practice all week, but had no game designation on the final report.
The following Chiefs players were full participants in practice on Friday and have no game designation:
- Wide receiver Cyrus Allen (knee)
- Safety Chamarri Conner (knee)
- Right guard Trey Smith (hip)
- Quarterback Patrick Mahomes (knee)
Seahawks
The team’s Senior Reporter John Boyle reported that running back Zach Charbonnet has been activated off the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list after full participation in Wednesday’s practice. However, he was ruled out on the final injury report.
Linebackers Chazz Surratt (calf) and Drake Thomas (ankle) will not play; Surratt has mainly been a special-teams player this year, but Thomas has the third-most tackles on the team and was impactful alongside middle linebacker Ernest Jones.
Starting outside linebacker Uchenne Nwosu (hip) is questionable after popping up on Thursday’s injury report as a limited participant after not appearing on Wednesday’s list. He was limited on Friday as well.
Second-year safety Nick Emmanwori (hip) appeared on the final injury report as questionable after not being listed on Wednesday or Thursday. He is one of Seattle’s top playmakers; he has nine quarterback pressures (including two sacks), 3 tackles for loss and a pass defended.
