A Halloween display on Cushman Drive in Manchester is bringing more than just spooky fun to the community.
The festive home is a tradition that’s been passed down through generations.
Nick Brooks learned about the Halloween decorating from his grandfather, who died two years ago. Now, Brooks is continuing the tradition in his memory.
“It’s one of my favorite holidays, arguably my favorite,” Brooks said. “And you know, I’m also doing it for him. I live here with my grandmother, so she loves seeing me do it, but I just love Halloween, and it makes the community happy. So that’s the most important part to me.”
The display, known as “Cushman Manor,” is free to visit. It has attracted people looking to get into the Halloween spirit from all over.
Anyone interested in updates on when the display is open or new additions can join the Facebook group “Cushman Manor.”
