For the first time since 2006, Maryland tennis will have representatives in both the singles and doubles categories for the women’s tennis NCAA Fall Championships.

Diya Challa and Emma Ghirardato were victories in the doubles bracket at the ITA Atlantic Regionals, beating No. 1-seed Virginia.

Ghirardato competed in the fall championships last year in doubles, but that came with Ema Kovacevic as her partner.
