The Cleveland Browns opened as 1.5-point road favorites against the Tennessee Titans ahead of their Week 7 match-up, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. The over/under on the game is 37.5.
The Browns (4-2) are coming off of a 13-10 win over the Baltimore Ravens. It was a unique game for the team, as the defense allowed 10 first quarter points, but then pitched a shutout the rest of the way, including forcing a key turnover on RB Derrick Henry. The offense, meanwhile, was a mess to the point where it seemed like no one could get open. Then, in the second half, they gained a little traction, before the momentum swung further in their favor half-way through the fourth quarter. The Browns now lead the AFC North, and are favorites for the first time in seven games, due to the quality of their opponent.
The Titans (1-5) are coming off of a 26-20 win against the Indianapolis Colts for their first win of the season. They were dominated in the first half, being down 13-0, before scoring 20 unanswered in the second half, and tacking on a few more field goals, to win for the first time. However, they were out-gained in yards 399 to 186, and QB Cam Ward was 11-of-22 for 102 yards. The game seemed more like an indictment on the state of the Colts than good play from Tennessee. They rank at the bottom of the league in offense, so Cleveland should be ready to feast. Even with the Browns being on the road, it makes sense for them to finally be favorites here.
The over/under for the game is 37.5.
