The 2026 State Fair of Texas welcomed an estimated 2.1 million people during its 24-day run as it celebrated its 140th anniversary. That’s about 100,000 visitors more than last year, according to the numbers released by fair leaders.
Big Tex Urban Farms donated more than 22,000 pounds of fresh produce. And the scholarship program awarded more than $1.2 million to more than 100 students in Texas.
Vendors are donating leftover food to local nonprofits.
