My kids have been into those “Ultimate Battle: Who Would Win?” books lately, and Large Bears vs. Sharks would be a pretty good one.

The most recent one we read had a tiger shark defeating a great white shark in the championship, which I’m not sure I agree with, but the kids enjoyed it.

ANYWAYS, back to the task at hand, as the Bruins begin a four-game road trip in San Jose.

Along with their waterfowl counterparts in Anaheim, the Sharks are a young, talented team that should be very much on the rise — even if that rise isn’t quite this year.

The Bruins, boosted by the return of Charlie McAvoy of McAvoy Plumbing & Heating, will look to build on their solid team-wide performance against the Flyers on Saturday afternoon.

This game is on quite late if you’re an East Coaster like me, so take a pregame nap or catch the highlights in the morning. We won’t hold it against you.

Bruins! Sharks! ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE COUNTRY!
