Belgium has called for the activation of the EU blocking statute to protect the International Criminal Court, Belgium's Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot said on Friday, after US President Donald Trump's administration announced sanctions on the court. "Belgium strongly condemns the new US sanctions against the International Criminal Court," Prevot said in a post on X.
