The Chicago Bears continued their preparations for Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers, and got a few positive updates on their injury report.
Several players who missed Wednesday’s workout were able to participate in a limited capacity, including running back D’Andre Swift, who is dealing with hip and knee issues.
Multiple offensive linemen for the Bears who missed the Wednesday practice were also back in a limited capacity, including left guard Joe Thuney, who missed practice earlier in the week with a pectoral issue.
Jonah Jackson and Darnell Wright, both of whom missed the Wednesday practice with ankle injuries, were limited on Thursday.
The news on the injury front wasn’t all good, as running back Kyle Monangai was out for a second straight day with thumb and toe injuries. Linebacker Keyshaun Elliott, who was limited Wednesday with a quadriceps injury, missed Thursday’s workout.
As expected, quarterback Caleb Williams was a non-participant with the hamstring injury that has kept him out of the Bears’ last two games.
Defensive back Kyler Gordon (calf), linebacker Noah Sewell (Achilles) and defensive lineman Shemar Turner (knee) all were full participants as they work to come back from the physically unable to perform list.
Kickoff is set for noon, and the game will air Sunday on Fox.
