Madrid just made more revenue than any sporting team on the planet. There's your facts. The basketball program is funded under the same umbrella as the soccer (football) team. More revenue than any north American team. The other big wigs in European basketball are run the same. Under the umbrella of the soccer programs and your telling me to seek facts. They make plenty of money.
I understand the smaller struggling ball clubs who aren't funded by huge soccer programs wanting in. The money will trickle on down off the back of the big brands. A collaboration can happen but drop the ridiculous price tag, that's just a money grab. Smaller clubs can't even afford that buy in price anyways.
If silver really wants to help, target the smaller clubs and help them be profitable while putting a competitive product on the floor. Asking Madrid, Barcelona or PSG for monstrous money is absolutely laughable and daylight robbery. Again, those teams don't need help. Certainly not at that price. They're doing just fine. Look them up.
