The TCU Horned Frogs (2-2; 0-1 Big 12) return to Amon G. Carter Stadium against a top ten opponent with the No. 10 BYU Cougars (3-0; 1-0 Big 12) coming to Fort Worth for a Big 12 Conference showdown. The teams faced off in Provo in 2025, an easy & decisive victory for the Cougars. Prior to that game, the Horned Frogs had won five straight in the series dating back to the days as rivals in the Mountain West, last losing to BYU in 2007.

BYU remains one of the Big 12 favorites, a likely candidate to be in Arlington in December with a shot at a Playoff bid. Led by sophomore quarterback Bear Bachmeier and senior RB LJ Martin, the Cougars have the Big 12’s top scoring attack, averaging 44 points per game.

The TCU offense will look to take advantage of a BYU defense that has created five interceptions but has the fewest sacks in the conference. TCU QB Jaden Craig is averaging over 300 passing yards per game and looks to have big time WR Jordan Dwyer back to full health.

Can the Horned Frogs pull off the stunning upset in soggy Fort Worth or will the Cougars hold serve as a national power? Join the conversation in the comment section below as we ride the game day rollercoaster together. Go Frogs!
