The Wisconsin Badgers are taking on the Michigan State Spartans in Week 5, looking to win their third consecutive game after beating the Penn State Nittany Lions on the road last weekend.
Wisconsin had a major comeback effort last weekend, coming back down double-digits in the fourth quarter to pull off the upset in Happy Valley, thanks to an elite defensive performance and some quality late drives from the offense.
At 3-1, the Badgers are just outside of the AP Top 25 this week, ranking as the first team out of the rankings. So, they’ll be looking for another solid win on Saturday, as they hope to join the rankings for the first time since 2023.
They’ll take on a battered Michigan State team that was just ravaged by injuries last weekend. The Spartans lost running back Cam Edwards for the season, and will be without some key impact defenders on Saturday as well.
The Spartans lost 31-13 to Nebraska last week, which was a demoralizing defeat after they fought hard in a 27-10 loss to Notre Dame.
