The Green Bay Packers finally got a win on Sunday, earning a W for the first time in more than nine months in a come-from-behind 20-17 overtime victory over the New York Jets. It was a long time coming, snapping a six-game losing streak and finally coming up with a win for the first time since Micah Parsons’ torn ACL last December.
However, that win came at a cost; Jayden Reed was injured on the game’s second play and landed in the hospital, while right tackle Zach Bako-Bewele tore his patellar tendon and will be out for at least the rest of the 2026 season. Those injuries, particularly Bako-Bewele’s, would seem to put a significant damper on the Packers’ chances of competing for a Super Bowl.
