Actors are the most visible aspect of a film for most people, oftentimes it being the reason they go watch a movie at all. For those moviegoers, they might have noticed that, in the opening credits of films, there are actor and director pairings that seem to happen all of the time.
It makes sense, when you think about it. Wouldn’t you want to work again with someone you already clicked with? Some of these pairings are what we bring you today. We were careful not to repeat directors, otherwise we would do this entire list based around Tarantino alone.
