Last week, after the Cleveland Browns’ disastrous start to the season against the Jacksonville Jaguars, we took a look at where the team stood when it came to the 2027 NFL draft order. Even if the Browns go 16-1 this season, the NFL draft is always important to teams, especially when Cleveland owns the Los Angeles Rams first-round pick next year.
If we are going to cover the draft after a bad loss, it is only fair to take a look at the NFL playoff standings after a nice win in Week 2.
With one game left in Week 2, two NFC teams (Rams, Giants) facing off on Monday Night Football, there are four undefeated and five teams without a win in the AFC. The other seven, like the Browns, have a 1-1 record. Due to tiebreakers, starting with nine of the 10 teams ahead of Cleveland having won a conference game, the Browns are at the bottom of the AFC list of teams with one victory.
