The Jacksonville Jaguars (1-1) will return to EverBank Stadium to face the New England Patriots (1-1) in Week 3.
The Jags are coming off a deflating loss against the Denver Broncos at Mile High, where they allowed a Bo Nix-led offense to score 17 straight points to complete a second-half comeback. The defense couldn’t cover Jaylen Waddle (finished with 138 yards) and the offensive line couldn’t protect Trevor Lawrence (see below).
The Pats are coming off a comfortable win against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Foxborough, where their defense took care of business against the ghost of Aaron Rodgers. Second-year running back TreVeyon Henderson housed a 37-yard run in his season debut, but for a second straight game, Drake Maye looked mortal.
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Jaguars are 2.5-point favorites against the Patriots in Week 3. The total is set at 44.5 points.
