Cleveland Browns news: Injury report adds big name, Jimmy Horn Jr., Week 2 games of note

After spending time on Wednesday mostly about the offense, Thursday for the Cleveland Browns was all about the defense. DC Mike Rutenberg spoke, as did DE Jared Verse, with a new DNP leading the injury reports from that side of the ball. Browns fans are not expecting much from their team in Week 2 with their former QB, Baker Mayfield, on the other side of the ball.

Not a lot of news, but some things of interest for Cleveland fans before the final practice of Week 2:

• A couple of other games Browns fans might want to watch: With Cleveland struggling and having the LA Rams’ first-round draft pick, a few other Week 2 games Browns fans might tune into.
• WR Jimmy Horn Jr. reportedly rejoining QB Shedeur Sanders in Cleveland: No official move on Thursday, but the Browns are reportedly bringing in Horn, the former Colorado Buffaloes receiver.
• CB Tyson Campbell did not practice on Thursday, a big concern for Week 2: The defense struggled last week; if Campbell can’t play, it could get much worse.
