Becca Kelley turned in one of her best offensive performances as a Horned Frog on Sunday. The senior posted a team-best 18 kills on a .471 hitting percentage to lead No. 18 TCU in a three-set sweep at No. 14 Purdue. Kelley added nine digs and four blocked shots, while Evan Hendrix earned a double-double with 11 kills and 10 digs to pace the TCU attack. Reese Robins totaled seven kills on a .455 hitting percentage for the Horned Frogs (3-2).
TCU hit .257 as a team and held Purdue to a .172 hitting rate. On offense, Rosemary Archer paced the attack with 23 assists and Reese Wilburn followed with 10 assists. Alice Volpe dug up a team-best 17 balls from the back row and both Kinsley Young and De’Andrea McMillan blocked four shots in the front row. TCU took the match 25-22, 25-19, 25-23. The Horned Frogs fared much better on serves, committing just three errors in the match.
