Well, they didn’t lose! That’s something! Tottenham Hotspur went to the City Ground to play Nottingham Forest, a team they haven’t beaten in their last four matches, and came away with a scoreless draw. That’s the good news. The bad news is that Spurs didn’t manage a single shot on target in that match, though Omar Marmoush put a golden opportunity wide and Micky van de Ven somehow had a close range header off a corner go wide of the post.
Forest had a garbage goal that would’ve been the winner called off after VAR intervened and said it went off of Neco William’s arm before crossing the line. Spurs rode that luck to a point today, but whooooooo buddy this doesn’t look like a team ready to challenge for top four. Not even close. Patience still required.
