Facing a second ranked SEC opponent in as many games, TCU scored three consecutive goals to earn a 3-2 victory against No. 17 Georgia. Trailing 1-0, the Horned Frogs equalized on Eres Freifeld’s strike in the 10th minute. Grace Coppinger followed with a goal in the 25th minute and Emma Yolinsky converted a pass from Bella Diorio, her second assist of the game, to score in the 61st minute and give TCU a two-goal advantage.
Georgia brought itself within one after a goal in the 87th minute, but Olivia Geller and the Horned Frog back line held strong in the final minutes. Geller recorded two saves for the Horned Frogs, who owned a 5-4 advantage in shots on goal despite being outshot 12-9 in the match. TCU also overcame a 6-3 corner-kick edge to the Bulldogs. Georgia possessed the ball for 54% of the match, but the Horned Frogs drew the Bulldogs offside five times.
