We’re in a golden age of seafood restaurants in New York, as upscale and laid-back options flourish, buoyed by the rise of sushi spots and a growing preference for a more health-conscious diet. In the past year or so in particular, fish restaurants are opening at a fast clip with options like a seafood slip upstairs from a terrific wine bar and a brasserie among them. For this update, we’ve added the new Zoli in East Williamsburg and swapped out Lure Fishbar for newer sibling Seahorse in Union Square.
