A Miami doctor, who was previously arrested after allegedly being caught on camera sexually battering a sedated patient during a cosmetic procedure last year, is facing a new charge for an incident that happened in 2023, a report says.
Dr. Ronald Freeman DeMeo, 63, is facing a charge of sexual battery of a victim 18 years or older without serious injury, Miami-Dade Jail records showed.
During his court appearance on Wednesday, a judge set DeMeo’s bond at $7,500. He is not allowed to return back to work and will remain on house arrest.

According to authorities, on March 19, a woman, who said she was one of DeMeo’s cosmetic patients, reported that she was sexually assaulted by him in September 2023.
An arrest report said the woman saw DeMeo’s arrest on social media and called a friend to tell her she was assaulted by him. The friend then told the victim to report the incident to police.
The victim said she saw DeMeo before she was assaulted, and that the last time she saw him, she treated her mother to have some facial work done and scheduled for her to have Botox on her face, the report said.
While at DeMeo’s office with her mother, the report said, the victim asked about removing a tattoo, and DeMeo said she could have the removal that same day. When the victim’s tattoo removal was finished, as well as her mother’s appointment, the victim said DeMeo told her to get an ice pack for her face, and the two went to a room.
In the room, the victim said that DeMeo closed the door, reached for an icepack, and then exposed himself, asking her to “Kiss it, the report said.
The victim said no to DeMeo, but noticed that there were several needles in the room, and thought she could be hurt, so she agreed to perform oral sex on him out of fear for her life, the report said.
After she finished, the report said, she asked DeMeo if she could leave, and without warning, he raped the victim.
The victim then left the room after she was assaulted and met with her mother, but didn’t tell her what happened, the report said. The day after being assaulted, a witness told the victim to report the incident, but she refused.
On March 24, detectives spoke with the witness, who works at the place where the victim was assaulted, and corroborated what the victim told authorities, the report said.
The witness told detectives that she wanted to confront DeMeo, staff or police about what happened, but didn’t out of respect for the victim’s privacy, she said.
She also said that it was common for staff to leave while DeMeo stayed alone with his clients, and she once saw a condom in a procedure room, and when she told staff about it, they weren’t surprised.
The witness said that other female clients said DeMeo is touchy and explained that clients stay around without staff around due to payment, the report said.
She told detectives that if payment is collected or not necessary, the staff will leave. Patients are also allowed to self-medicate with their own medications, and wine is offered as a courtesy for waiting or after a procedure is done at DeMeo’s request, the witness said.
DeMeo on Tuesday surrendered himself at the Miami Police station.
DeMeo was previously charged with three counts of sexual battery on a physically helpless victim for an alleged incident that happened Oct. 25, 2025, when the victim, a 29-year-old patient of his, went to him for a cosmetic procedure.
His attorney sent NBC6 the following statement:
“The first case it’s being investigated by the state attorney’s office and they are considering substantial exonerating evidence that we have submitted to them. Dr. Demeo adamantly denies the allegations in both matters.”
