Richard Rogers — the son of Mary Kay Ash and key leader at the cosmetics company — died on Tuesday. He was 82.
Rogers was the co-founder of Mary Kay in the 1960s and would hold various leadership positions at the iconic beauty products company, including as CEO, according to a statement. Together with his wife, Nancy, he supported a variety of charitable and cultural causes.
He was born April 15, 1943, in Bryan to Julius Ben Rogers, a musician, and Mary Kathlyn Wagner Rogers, before she was later more widely known as Mary Kay Ash.
