A simple swim to cool off ended in tragedy for a man on Lake Ray Roberts.
Carles Luksich jumped off a boat Sunday, March 29, 2026, and did not resurface, according to Texas Game Wardens.
Search efforts continued into the following day before his body was recovered on Monday, March 30, by the Texas Game Warden Underwater Search and Recovery Team.
Officials said Luksich was not wearing a life vest at the time of the incident.
Authorities have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the drowning.
