
Emergency crews responded to Ferry Park in Rocky Hill just after 11 a.m. on Monday for a report of a vehicle in the Connecticut River.
When they arrived, they found a woman in a Jeep about 35 feet out from the riverbank.
Crews were able to break a window and pull the woman to safety after about 10 minutes, according to fire officials.
The woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
A police officer also sustained non-life-threatening injuries, fire officials said.
They are still investigating how the SUV ended up in the river.
The vehicle was removed from the water around 1:45 p.m.
