I never asked how black players got an opportunity to prove they’re better, not once. And the spirit of the Rooney rule was so that minorities got an opportunity at all coaching levels not just HC. Being hired as a position coach or coordinator certainly gives you an opportunity to prove it. The issue here is, like most things race related, people are so narrow minded on each side that a discussion rarely goes anywhere. It’s a flawed rule that tried to fix a problem that 1 side says never existed and the others swear did
