In reply to Go Steelers.
"Ever", surely yes. I'm in NC these days, so, last time was last November. My thought is that the North Hills has more affluent neighborhoods, and would be resistant to new construction. But hey... Robinson Township also seems to have a lot of "room", why not there for the new Steelers' practice facility? Traffic will be pretty bad both in the North Hills and Robinson, that's a wash.
Pitt will get to keep the entire South Side facility, yes? Wesley Posvar and John Petersen approve. I do as well. Better chance for recruiting new Pitt Panther football players.
Please, could you arrange to have it built on the site of my old thesis advisor's home? It's okay, he and his are out in CA now, and is a big Steelers fan. He'd get a kick out of it. When the Steelers practiced at Duquesne back in '94, a bunch of us would take time out to watch practices.
Very glad to see you appreciate the South Hills!! That's where I grew up. Okay, Keystone Oaks H.S. is out... perhaps, not a suburb... Brashear H.S. would be better? Nice spot and all, no asbestos to be concerned with.
