Police investigating apparent stabbing death in Manchester, NH

Authorities are investigating after a man was apparently stabbed to death in Manchester, New Hampshire, on Tuesday night.

Around 9:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Manchester police responded to the area of Barry Avenue and Spruce Street in Manchester after receiving a 911 call reporting an injured man, the attorney general’s office said. When they arrived, officers found a man lying on the ground, unconscious, with an apparent stab wound to his chest.

The man was rushed to Elliot Hospital, where he later died.

No arrests have been announced by police.

The attorney general’s office said an autopsy is scheduled for later on Wednesday and additional details will be released as they become available.
