This is, to me, where Khan and Weidl come in. Though Khan has been around the team for awhile Weidl came from PHL where he was schooled by Howie Roseman, a wheeler/dealer kind of GM. At least insofar as player acquisition, roster construction, etc. The football stuff.
Though we may lose Weidl given his interview with ATL, he has been here long enough to influence Khan’s thinking and influence methods.
Is there magic in the Burgh? Of course there is, at least to those of us who have lived there. But the magic in the franchise, as the article points out, is the success derived from excellent choices in HC hiring.
Let’s hope that continues!
