Police are investigating a smash and grab at a jewelry store in Bristol.
It happened at Kay Jewelers on Farmington Avenue on Monday evening, according to police.
Two masked suspects entered the store and used a hammer to break open a display case, police said.
They snatched jewelry from the cases and quickly left the store.
The value of the jewelry was still being determined, according to police.
A similar smash and grab happened at the Connecticut Post Mall over the weekend. It’s not clear if police think the two incidents might be related.
