The Jan. 13 column from Cal Thomas was another whitewashing attempt of the Jan. 6 insurrection at the United States Capitol, which was led by rabid supporters of Donald Trump (“Anti-law enforcement sentiment causing serious problems,” Star-Advertiser). That attack ended in documented deaths and career-ending injuries inflicted on law enforcement officers. Everyone connected to that crime scene was pardoned by our current administration.
