Winter Restaurant Week is back in the D.C. area, and more than 350 restaurants are offering deals on brunch, lunch and dinner.
Winter Restaurant Week officially runs Jan. 19 to 25, the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) announced.
Most restaurants offer a three-course menu for a fixed price. Brunches and lunches cost $25 or $35 per person. Dinner menus are set at $40, $55 or $65 per person. You can splurge on beverage pairings and add-ons at some spots.
“It’s about coming out and celebrating and supporting our restaurant industry,” Rosemary Suggs-Evans, Director for the DC Department of Small and Local Business Development, said.
Lunches or brunches often have the best deals, and reservations are recommended.
Thirty-five restaurants in the DMV are participating for the first time, RAMW said. In D.C., that includes chef Kwame Onwuachi’s Dogon; Ingle Korean Steakhouse’s new outpost in D.C., Sapodilla’s Caribbean Restaurant in historic Anacostia and The Dabney, which boasts a Michelin star.
Newcomers in Maryland include Charley Chesapeake Chophouse & Bar in Gaithersburg, Motorkat in Takoma Park and Salt & Vine in Olney.
In Virginia, first-time participants are ArTeA Restaurant & Bar in McLean, Big Buns at One Loudon, Honest Grill in Centreville, Velocity Wings in Bristow, Wiseguy Pizza in Herndon and Brasserie Royale and Ms. Peach’s in Sterling.

Dozens of restaurants are expected to extend their deals past Jan. 25, and a list will be posted on the website on Jan. 26, RAMW said.
