Portland Trail Blazers rookie Yang Hansen helped the G League’s Rip City Remix to another win on Friday night at the Chiles Center. Yang posted 14 points, 17 rebounds, two assists and two blocks in a 127-111 win over the Oklahoma City Blue, beating the OKC G League affiliate for the second time in three days.
The big man reached those numbers while shooting 3-6 from the floor and 4-4 from the free throw line in 31 minutes. He also committed three turnovers and five fouls.
Remix guard Sean Pedulla led all scorers with 30 points (on 9-18 shooting) and fellow guard Blake Hinson scored 24. Blazers two-way contract forward Javonte Cooke produced 17 points, four rebounds, three assists and three steals.
The Remix led 41-27 after the first quarter and 75-52 at halftime on the way to a breezy win.
The Blazers recalled Yang this morning, so he should be available for the Blazers’ matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers tonight at the Moda Center.
