We’ve made it to the end of another week and that means it’s time to get some results from our weekly survey. We went with one basketball and one football this week. So let’s not waste any time, let’s just get right into these results.
An overwhelming 66% of all respondents think that Purdue moving toward an easier, softer, cupcakeier type schedule is the right thing to do. The fact is that Purdue doesn’t have the firepower to take on a difficult non-conference at this point and so until that changes I think it’s okay to schedule down a bit. I will miss seeing some interesting opponents, but I’m just not sure it can be helped at this point. Purdue is down bad right now and it needs to see some victories before anything else.
An incredible, and confident, 84% of respondents think that Purdue will return home from their West coast swing with a 2-0 record. That would put them at 8-0 in conference play and would be an incredible start to the season. Let’s hope it comes true. We will know in just a few days.
