North Alabama under a winter weather advisory Saturday and Sunday
At 11:04 a.m. on Thursday, the National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory valid from Saturday midnight until Sunday 6 p.m. for Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Morgan, Marshall, Jackson, DeKalb and Cullman counties.The weather service says, "Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations up to one inch and ice accumulations between 0.05 - 0.10 inches."
