On Thursday at 11:04 a.m. the National Weather Service issued an ice storm warning valid from Saturday midnight until Sunday 6 p.m. for Lauderdale, Colbert and Franklin counties.
The weather service states, "Significant icing expected. Total snow and sleet accumulations up to one inch and ice accumulations between one quarter of an inch to one inch."
